How we handle your information
Raahat is a Saanjh project of the Rotaract Club of Delhi Dynamic Leaders (RACDDL). This page explains what we collect, why, and who can see it, in plain words.
When you request support
The request form asks for your name, phone number, email address and age. You can also share your gender, city, preferred language, what brings you here, whether you have been diagnosed before, how you are feeling right now, an emergency contact and how you heard about us. Only the questions without “optional” are needed.
We use this to understand what you need, call you, and find a therapist or partner organisation who suits you.
Unfinished requests
Your answers are saved securely as you type, so you can come back to them. If you don’t finish, authorised Raahat coordinators can see what you have shared so far, and we may send you one reminder email, which you can opt out of. Unfinished answers are deleted after seven days.
Who can see it
- The authorised Raahat coordination team.
- Once you are matched, the therapist or partner organisation you are matched with, for what they need to arrange your care.
- Nobody else, unless the law requires it or someone’s safety is at serious risk.
Talk to your therapist about confidentiality and its limits before your sessions begin.
Emails
We send emails about your request and your care, such as a confirmation, consent forms and updates. They are delivered through an email service provider.
Visits to this website
If you click “Allow” on the analytics notice, we use Google Analytics to count visits to our public pages so we can improve them. If you choose “No thanks”, it doesn’t load. The request form itself is never tracked. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing [email protected].
Not a crisis service
Raahat is not an emergency service. If you need help right now, see our helplines.
